Timac Agro Launch Rebranded Range of Animal Nutrition Blocks

Formally known as the Calseabloc range, Timac Agro UK have rebranded their animal nutrition blocks to accommodate three key areas of livestock nutrition.

Matt Bell, business development manager at Timac Agro UK, says the rebranding has been introduced to help farmers choose the right solution to support the key areas of their animal production.

The three key areas are Spadea, to aid feed efficiency, Ceteia, to aid health and wellbeing and Luneo, to aid growth and reproduction.

He says: “The blocks were first launched in 1984 and have gained great traction over the years on-farm, but we feel this rebranding will only further help the products stake their claim in the sector.

“The nutritional range is sodium based, which ensures the animal self-regulates their consumption of the block to their own requirements.

“Sodium acts as the delivery mechanism of other less palatable nutrients, such as magnesium, phosphorus and other essential trace elements, as well as stimulating salivation which improves the rumen fermentation process.”

The range contains seven nutritional blocks that are individually formulated with Timac Agro technologies for specific situations, e.g., calving/lambing, turn-out or dietary changes. Each block helps improve rumen activity, digestion efficiency, immunity and fertility.

Mr Bell assures farmers that despite the rebranding, the ingredients of each block will remain the same and will be rolled out from August 2023.
