MINACTIV allows for a greater and faster transformation of organic matter to available nutrients through primary mineralisation (crop residues, manures, thatch and straw) and through secondary mineralisation of the soil humus. MINACTIV increases the breakdown of crop residues, thatch, manures and straw, to release nutrients otherwise locked up in carbon stores, improving the soil C:N ratio, even in low temperatures.
