Expectations & Benefits

  • Physactiv Complex
Physactiv is a seaweed complex, of amino-purines, fucanes, Calcimer and/or soft rock phosphate.
    - Amino-purines are seaweeds compounds that stimulate directly the root growth.
    - Fucanes are seaweed extract, rich in fucose, uronic acids and oligosaccharides that stimulate soil bacterial metabolism

    Physactiv ensures:
    - Soil reserves are optimised for an appropriate plant nutrition
    - Increased root growth and maximised trace element supply to the plant
  • Marine Calcium
    - Increased absorption of calcium, required for root and hair development
    - Improved microbial activity
    - Improved bacterial environment e.g. micro-pH for bacterial activity
    - Improved storage of nutrients eg P, K within the clay-humic complex
    - Protects the Phosphorus from locking up allowing for an increased availability and efficiency
  • Soft Rock Phosphate
    - Phased release phosphate to provide P throughout the season
    - Improves plant roots and tillering
    - Improves crop yields
    - Increases photosynthesis and plant respiration
    - Provides energy in the form of ATP, for plant processes
    - Increase resistance to plant diseases
  • Potash
    - Essential for plant growth and quality
    - Increases resistance to lodging
    - Improves nitrogen uptake,
    - Increases winter hardiness and reduces effect of drought
  • Magnesium
    - Improves photosynthesis, reducing Nitrates in the leaf
    - Improves Phosphorus uptake in the plant - increasing energy within the plant
    - Important for Livestock growth and function
    - Increases Livestock resistance to infection
    - Important for regulation of Livestock nervous systems (staggers - caused by a deficiency in forage at turn-out or during periods of lush growth)
  • Trace Elements
    Trace elements are important for:
    - Plant Growth (e.g. Boron, Zinc, Manganese)
    - Plant Quality and Disease Resistance (e.g. Copper, Boron, Zinc)
    - Animal Growth (e.g. Zinc, Molybdenum, Cobalt)
    - Animal Immunity and Fertility (e.g. Zinc, Iodine, Selenium, Cobalt)
