Nutrigrass

Nutrigrass contains our N-Process technology, supplying protected, controlled-release nitrogen, ensuring the crop has nitrogen available throughout the entire growing season. As well as enhancing plant growth, this helps to improve protein production, daily live weight gain, and milk production in livestock. combining protected Urea and Ammonium Sulphate to reduce losses through volatilisation and leaching, increasing the NUE, while stimulating plant metabolic pathways to process N into protein throughout the season.

The inclusion of Sodium improves taste and utilisation of grass, allowing for tighter grazing. Dry matter intake of livestock will increase as rejection patches reduce. Palatability of silage swards is also improved, particularly if slurry has been applied pre-cutting. Nutrigrass encourages the production of saliva which contains bicarbonate and regulates rumen function. Drought tolerance in grass is also improved with this solution.

Sulphur within Nutrigrass increases Nitrogen uptake and Protein content in the grass. Dry Matter content is also boosted, as is the amount of Clover in swards. Sulphur is important for the function of ruminal bacteria in livestock, as well as metabolism.

High quality Magnesium improves photosynthesis, reducing Nitrates in the leaf. Phosphorus uptake and utilisation in the grass is increased - as is the energy content. This element is vital for livestock growth and function, increasing resistance to infection and regulation of nervous systems (staggers is caused by a Magnesium deficiency in forage at turn-out, or during periods of lush growth).

The trace elements within Nutrigrass are important for: livestock immunity, fertility and growth (e.g. Zinc, Iodine, Selenium, Molybdenum, Cobalt), as well as grass growth, quality and disease resistance (e.g. Boron, Zinc, Manganese, Copper).
